Comparison of low-cost hyperspectral sensors

چکیده
Recent advances in large format detector arrays and holographic diffraction gratings have made possible the development of imaging spectrographs with high sensitivity and resolution, at relatively low component cost (<$100K.) Several airborne instruments have been built for the visible and near infrared spectral band with 10-nm resolution, and SNR of 200:1. Three instruments are compared, an all-reflective spectrograph using a convex grating in an Offner configuration, and two off-theshelf transmission grating spectrographs using volume holograms. The camera is a 1024 x 1024 frame transfer, back-thinned CCD, with four taps for obtaining high frame rates. Performance and scan data is presented and compared to the design for image quality, distortion, and throughput.

متن کاملImproving Gas Sensing Properties of Tin Oxide Nanowires Palladium-Coated Using a Low Cost Technique
Thin films of SnO2 nanowires were successfully prepared by using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process on quartz substrates. Afterwards, a thin layer of palladium (Pd) as a catalyst was coated on top of nanowires. For the deposition of Pd, a simple and low cost technique of spray pyrolysis was employed, which caused an intensive enhancement on the sensing response of fabricated sensors...

In this paper, a homogenous multi-sensor fusion method is used to estimate the trueangular rate and acceleration with a combination of four low cost (< 10$) MEMS Inertial MeasurementUnits (IMU). An information form of steady state Kalman filter is designed to fuse the output of four lowaccuracy sensors to reduce the noise effect by the square root of the number of sensors. A hardware isimplemen...
